Can't see any images? Want to change your plugin setting?
The images in this system are high-resolution, and are presented through a viewer window that lets you zoom in and move around the image. The viewer is controlled through the toolbar at the top-right of the image window.
Below is a description of the toolbar buttons and how to use them:
The hand tool allows you to pan or roam around the image. When this tool is selected, click and hold anywhere on the image and drag it around as desired.
The zoom tool allows you to click and drag on the image to zoom in and out. Click and drag down to zoom in. Click and drag up to zoom out.
The zoom box tool lets you draw a box on the image to zoom in.
Click the fit image width button to display the full width of the image in the viewer.
Click the full image button to display the entire image in the viewer.
The pointer tool allows you to select linked areas on index maps to link to the individual plates. Select the tool by clicking the pointer icon, then click on a plate on the index map. Important note: When using the plugin viewer, clickable areas are outlined with translucent red lines. In the standard HTML viewer, areas are still clickable, but no additional outlines (beyond those on the original maps) are visible. To install or switch to the plugin viewer, you can click the plugin settings link at the top of this page. |
